Only Use Official Releases

THE QORTAL TEAM RECOMMENDS ONLY USING OFFICIAL RELEASES OR THIRD PARTY APPS THAT ARE VETTED!

Core and UI (with app image version) will automatically update the core. Refer to the Core & UI FAQ page for more info.

You assume all risk if you choose to use an unofficial download. When in doubt, feel free to ask us in one of the chat systems! It’s better to ask PUBLICLY so we can all verify.

Qortal’s core and UI only use open source work that is verified by the trusted core team to ensure updates are safe for release. The same open source requirement applies to any third party apps we have reviewed and vetted. We welcome anyone and everyone to review the code so we can always be sure to patch any exploits or needed changes.
