This is done in private message and/or in public posts within our chat systems. In some cases, they even have the audacity to pose as Qortal team members such as "Crowetic" or "G Factor QORT" so please BEWARE! The Qortal team will NEVER request you to send money to us like that - so when in doubt, ask us in the public chats! Another easy way to tell is by the username - not the bio! Below are screenshots of the private message attempts posing as G Factor:
