+Once the image is extracted, you will have an 'img' file with the same name as the zip. This is the file you will write to the SSD.

+You now have an 'imaging computer' (a computer you installed Balena Etcher on, and downloaded the image to), and your 'storage medium' that you are going to write to. The QORTector SSD. That is all you need. You need to ensure the USB port from the SSD, which is USB-C, is connected to it, and can be connected with the 'normal USB side' (USB-A connector) to the imaging computer.
+Once you have the img file, and your SSD with its cable.  You will use Balena Etcher that you downloaded and installed above, to WRITE the IMAGE to the STORAGE (SSD).

+  * **Connect the USB SSD (the USB-A side (typical USB) leaving the USB-C connected to the SSD), to a USB port on your imaging machine**.

+  * **Select the drive you wish to image to** (either the SSD or SD card) **Note - Since the 500GB SSD it is a 'larger disk', you will have to give Balena explicit permission to write to it**, as it will attempt to block writing to larger disks to prevent accidentally overwriting system disks. **Simply select the Samsung T7 SSD (500GB), and tell Balena it's okay to write to it**.

+  * **Once Write is complete, you will now have your newly installed Image on the disk.**

+===== Post-Imaging Setup =====
+The QORTector Image is pre-configured to take care of the  majority of Qortal-related things for you. However, since it hasn't been updated since the newer Qortal Interfaces have been released, you will need to set those up yourself if you would like to use them.

+=== Expanding the System Partition ===
+The partition on the image that you wrote to the 500GB disk, is only 32GB or less, which means it will only use 32GB of the available space by default, you must run a command to **Expand the partition**.
+Open the TERMINAL on the QORTector, and run the following command...

+This command will open the raspi-config tool. On that, you will need to go to **advanced** (using the arrow keys on the keyboard to select the options, and ENTER to use the option), then **Expand Filesystem / Partition**
