Thanks to the creation of 'Qortal Hub', the new interface for Qortal from the Qortal Development Group (thanks @phil for his amazing work in initiating the effort), many of the previous 'difficulties' and 'barriers to entry' have been either removed or dramatically reduced.

Keep in mind, however, that if a user publishes data on a public node, there is no guarantee that the published data will be kept for any specific period of time, and if the data doesn't get picked up by another node, it could potentially be lost. This is not possible while running your own node, as you are in full control over every aspect of what takes place on that node. Hosted access methods are there for a convenience feature, and are NOT meant to be utilzed as a primary access method to the Qortal Network.

Note - iOS users must access with Safari browser, then click 'share' and 'Add to Home Screen' to install Qortal Go PWA.

Running your own Qortal Core and Hub installation is the only guaranteed method of accessing the network that eliminates all aspects of Web 2.0 ('The Internet') and therefore will be the only method for accessing Qortal once the network is able to completely detach itself from the existing internet. (Which is actually going to be able to start taking place very soon, as Reticulum, the new communications and Mesh Networking protocol, is in development and will be reaching testing phase very soon. This will start the process of completely decoupling from the ISPs, and removal of 'the internet' completely from the requirements of Qortal. This of course will take time.)
